Stories are how we understand our world, who we are, where we have come from, and what we may have come through. These moments of our lives can be touchstones, full of power and significance. They are the glue that holds families, communities, and cultures together. In the last 3 years, we have been tested by the pandemic and political strife. This is a time of sharing and coming together to play, engage and share our stories.
Using this form of theatre develops intuition, insight, creativity, empathy, and effective communication skills and is used in many settings. This workshop is recommended for adults, social workers, educators, therapists, social justice activists and anyone with a story to tell: no theatre experience is needed. Please wear loose clothing.
